about

2000-2014.
15 years.

Somehow, I didn't even realize until recently that 2014 marks 15 years of songwriting for me. I had been meaning to make a playlist of my singles, or more well-liked songs, just for my own personal enjoyment. But, I figured with 15 years to my name, I might as well offer it up for free download.

No one asked for this, but it's cathartic for me to compile these songs from over the years and release them as one single entity. Whether or not my music has been popular in the least bit is irrelevant to me when I think about the friends I've made along the way. What's more, it's nice to know that I've documented my life in a way that I can revisit; I can revisit my past and find a well of emotions and details about what's occurred. I've always said that if you really want to know me, it's all there in my songs.

These 17 tracks are a small fraction of the nearly 200 songs I've written, but these are probably the ones that helped guide me and get me this far --- both musically and personally. Originally it was set at 15 tracks, but then I realized it seemed more apropos to have 17 for the years I've lived in Maryland, which is where this crazy musical journey all started.

I'm not much of a music guy anymore, but my music gave -- and continues to give -- me hope, inspiration, strength, and joy. My music helped save my life on numerous occasions, and if it all ended tomorrow, I'd be proud of what I've created and what I'll leave behind.

Cheers.
